Hi, I'm Dr. Corey Adler, the Founder of FFD Learning, and ASAP.
I have one goal - to keep workplaces safe, informed, and prepared.
I’m a chiropractor by training, and throughout my career, I’ve focused on listening carefully, identifying root problems, and building practical solutions. That mindset led me into the world of workplace substance use, where I founded Workplace Impairment Solutions to help employers implement true impairment testing—not just policy on paper, but real tools that support safety.
As I worked with companies across Canada, I saw a consistent gap: employers had fitness for duty or drug and alcohol policies, but lacked the education to implement them effectively. That’s why I created FFD Learning and launched the ASAP program. I knew we needed credible, science-based content—so I brought in Dr. Melissa Snider-Adler to help build something truly meaningful with the continued goal of keeping workplaces safe and informed.

Hi, I'm Dr. Melissa Snider-Adler, the content creator and Subject Matter Expert for ASAP.
My passion is to provide education that is clear, credible, and practical...
I’m an Addiction Medicine Physician and Medical Review Officer, with over 20 years of experience helping workplaces navigate substance use, impairment, and safety. I’ve worked as an expert in courtrooms, arbitrations, and policy consultations across Canada, and what I’ve learned is simple: education changes everything.
My passion for education started early—I taught piano lessons as a teenager, tutored throughout high school and university, and saw every speaking engagement as an opportunity to teach. Today, I continue to educate medical students, residents, and professionals about addiction medicine and workplace safety.
When Corey approached me about the ASAP program, I saw the chance to turn that passion into something scalable and impactful. I created the educational content for ASAP to help employers, HR teams, and employees understand what substance use and impairment really mean in the workplace—and how to respond with confidence, compassion, and safety in mind.
